10th Heart of Europe bio-Crystallography Meeting

In 2007, we celebrated 10 years of the HEC initiative. The anniversary meeting, HEC-X, took place in Bedlewo near Poznan, September 27-29. The scientific sessions were combined with reminiscences and historical notes by HEC veterans. A special guest at the meeting was Professor Guy Dodson, University of York, UK, who presented as the HEC-X keynote lecture the entrancing story of insulin structure and function.
